Wedding Anniversary 27th August 2020!

On the 27th August 1998 Lynda and I were married in the Rhinefield House Hotel, which is in the New Forest, Brockenhurst, Hampshire.

It is a lovely hotel which was built in 1889; we had a wonderful day with members of our family.

As you can see Lynda had a lovely time!

I also had a fabulous time.

Here we are with Lynda’s mum Nancy.

And my mum Mary!

My sister Jackie and brother in law Tony came to celebrate with us!

Lynda’s dad Brian

Lynda’s Auntie Margaret and Uncle Ted had a lovely time with us!

We had our celebration lunch in the Alhambra dining room, a replica of the Grenada-based palace, is ablaze with Persian onyx, copper, Venetian glass and mosaics.

We may look funny in this photo, but we had a wonderful time!

My mum, Mary and sister, Jackie.

We had a lovely honeymoon in France – the first time we took our bikes!  We drove down the West Coast with a little cycling in various places – lovely!

We then discovered the ile de R’e where we had some lovely cycling and we stayed in a very nice hotel and had some great food!

We have returned to the ile de R’e many times and have had some great cycling there!

We stayed in this hotel (and have done so many times since!) and have eaten well in the restaurant.
